The Grow Digital Voucher

The Grow Digital Voucher is a Local Enterprise Office (LEO) grant that helps small Irish businesses fund the software that helps them grow, with website, CRM, booking and ecommerce platforms among the eligible categories. It's administered by your Local Enterprise Office (localenterprise.ie), not by WrenSync. Whether your own application succeeds is entirely their decision, and we won't pretend otherwise.

The scheme's key figures

50%

of eligible costs funded

€500–5,000

grant range per application

€5,000

combined cap across up to 2 vouchers

What the voucher can fund

  • Website development (SaaS model only, not a bespoke build)
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Online booking, payments and appointments
  • E-commerce platforms

WrenSync is a single monthly subscription that covers website, CRM, booking and (on some plans) online ordering together. That's every one of those eligible categories, in one line item.

The scheme's own rules, and why we fit

The voucher only covers a software subscription that is new to your business, for a maximum of one year. A renewal, or a subscription you already hold, is not eligible.

Setup and training can be included in your application, but combined they can make up no more than 50% of your total project cost.

Not eligible

  • Custom or bespoke software of any kind
  • Bespoke website design or development. Only an off-the-shelf, SaaS-model platform qualifies

A flat, off-the-shelf SaaS subscription like WrenSync was never going to trip either of those exclusions. That's the scheme's own line, not ours.

Which plans qualify

Plans whose first year of billing may qualify for the Grow Digital Voucher
PlanAnnual priceIndicative grantGet a quotation
Restaurant€1,190/yearup to €595Start with Restaurant
Gym€1,490/yearup to €745Start with Gym

These are the plans whose first year of billing, funded at the scheme's 50% co-funding rate, may qualify for the voucher's minimum grant on its own. A plan not listed here can still be worth pairing with other eligible costs (setup or training time, capped at 50% of your project by the scheme's own rules) -- your LEO can confirm what your own application can combine. Whether any application succeeds is subject to your LEO's decision, not ours.

Most grant applicants pay for the year upfront: it's one clean line on your grant paperwork, and annual billing itself gives you 2 months free against paying monthly. The figures above are those annual prices, the same ones on the written quotation your Local Enterprise Office application needs.

Take our Restaurant plan. A first year billed annually, the maximum the voucher covers for a subscription that's new to your business, costs €1,190. At 50% co-funding, that's an indicative €595 grant, over the scheme's minimum and well under its cap. Months 13 onward are never grant-funded, on any plan -- that's the scheme's one-year rule, not a limit we impose.

Take our Gym plan. A first year billed annually, the maximum the voucher covers for a subscription that's new to your business, costs €1,490. At 50% co-funding, that's an indicative €745 grant, over the scheme's minimum and well under its cap. Months 13 onward are never grant-funded, on any plan -- that's the scheme's one-year rule, not a limit we impose.

On our lower-cost plans, a full year's subscription alone may sit under the scheme's minimum grant threshold. Pairing it with other eligible categories, such as setup or training time (capped at 50% of your total project cost by the scheme's own rules), can bring a smaller project over that floor. Your LEO can confirm the exact combination for your application -- Restaurant and Gym are the plans that clear it on the subscription alone today.

Figures above use our listed subscription price. No VAT is charged. WrenSync is not currently VAT-registered. Three costs sit outside the subscription figure on any plan, so they don't belong on a voucher application: card-processing fees on your own online sales (Stripe's standard rates), our 0.5% platform fee on those same card payments, and WhatsApp messages beyond your plan's included allowance.

Who can apply

  • 1–50 paid employees
  • Trading for at least 6 months
  • Holds current tax clearance
  • Not currently a client of Enterprise Ireland or IDA Ireland

Before you apply

You must have completed a Digital for Business project with your Local Enterprise Office within the previous two years before you can apply for a Grow Digital Voucher. This is a precondition of the scheme itself, not something we can waive or apply for on your behalf.

How signing up works

Your LEO will ask for a written quotation as part of your application. Sign up for the plan you want and your account gives you the written quotation your application needs in a couple of clicks, so there is no back-and-forth over paperwork.

  1. 1

Sign up and choose a plan that may qualify

Signing up costs nothing until you pay for the year -- pick a plan from the ones that clear the voucher's minimum grant (see "Which plans qualify" below).

  2. 2

Get your quotation letter in your account

In a couple of clicks, your account generates the written quotation your Local Enterprise Office application needs.

  3. 3

Apply to your Local Enterprise Office

Submit your application with that quotation attached. Your LEO reviews it and makes the call -- that decision is entirely theirs.

  4. 4

Once your LEO gives you the go-ahead, come back and pay for the year

Nothing is charged before then. Paying for the year upfront also gets you 2 months free against paying monthly.

  5. 5

Build and publish your site, then submit your claim

With your plan active, build and publish your site, then send your LEO the paperwork it asks for to claim your grant.

Sign up free, but don't pay until your LEO gives the go-ahead

Your application must be submitted, and your Local Enterprise Office must sign off on it, before you commit to, order, or pay for anything, including the first month of a subscription. That sign-off is never given after the fact.

So if your application is still with your LEO, we'll wait. We would rather you keep your grant than have you pay us a week too early.

Where WrenSync fits

You already have your quotation once you sign up, so once your LEO has made its decision, coming back to pay for the year is the only step left before your site goes live. Whether any application succeeds is subject to your LEO's own decision on your own application, not something we can influence -- but the fit is real: a flat, off-the-shelf subscription is exactly the shape of purchase this scheme is built to fund.
